@Sorcerersupreme007 Well, I got put on a website, no damage done to the guitar, and it was a funny memory nonetheless. I'd say it was worth it, if only to laugh at previous stupidity haha
Having the pick stuck in the strings up by the headstock threw everything out of balance, thus causing the strap to detach from the other end... Next time leave the pick out... You will be sucessful.

If it was my guitar, I wouldn't have risked it. Secure strap or not secure strap.
