i dont think its very good i like the idea of optical zoom but 3x isnt much so theres no point really, anyway i prefer sony ericsson who do proberly the best phones ever and have alot of phones that people dont hear about.

normally i would agree with you, i used to swear my sony ericsson and their old ones were very good, but recently thy have focused on to much tecnology and so they hace become very unstable and often do not last very long so i now have viewty

most of the phones here in the us that are sony ericsson go straight to iwireless....which is a company that is for people who cant afford good contract phones and these sony ericsson phones go straight to them which uses sim cards and are pay by days not contracts....which sucks because it doesnt make sony ericsson a top brand and most people dont ever mention them and use them

I loved her presentation. Quite different from what I'm used to watching. Anyway, about the phone, I like it even if it has those camera issues. The active wallpaper is briliant. I've never seen anything like that before.

This phone will play movies/films in mp4/3gp format only. Also if you going to put a full length movie on the phone you will need to purchase a 1 or 2gb sd card for additional storage.

The samsung g800 is the first phone to have optical zoom AND xenon flash though.

is the shake realy this bad? its worse than a camera with no anti-shake. perhaps she exited the camera and went back in to the camera the camera thinking all the settings were still on but the anti-shake was off. as Gaffa07 found out you have to turn anti shake on everytime you go into the camera

Also, I will correct you. The back of the phone is not metal, it is plastic. Still very sturdy though.

Good point about the optical zoom. Digital zoom = lower quality, optical zoom = slightly odd perspective. Certainly that is the one thing I really miss when using a phone camera.

I think the long camera boot-up time is pretty normal: my Sony Ericsson likewise has a flick-aside cover, but it takes a couple of seconds before showing anything on the screen. I guess that's due to low RAM / inefficient software.
