Holy hell, the principal clarinetist and flutist are absolutely amazing....I'm in serious awe...I can not believe this is a high school orchestra. Wow....talk about talent....

the strings part is notoriously difficult and in most recordings I've heard, the strings are barely audible anyway. Mostly winds and brass in this movement.

nice orchestrator was Hindemith and here we have an example in these symphonic metamorphoses composed in 1943, this 2nd enchanted and exotic movement exploits the virtuosity of all members of the orchestra, incliding the percussion section

Excellent performance. Very impressive for high school orchestra. I don't know if RBHS orchestra can top this piece. This is a much better performance than the final performance at the church.
