@EquineMichael you obviously never worked with these types of animals. these show biz animals get treated extremely well, just look at how nice the mane and coats are on all of these shetlands so shiny and nice these horses have had a great deal of training i can almost promise that these "poor animals" eat better than most middle class families. these animals get free brushings, free carrots, free room and board on bedding that gets changed daily and probably free bathes with expensive shampoos
LOL indeed! Poor shetland ponies. I know they are strong, but I remember from when I was younger and in school, that those who were more than 40 kg wasnt allowed to ride them.And those men gotta be at least 70. 0.o?

The were bred to carry full grown men. They can cary up to 100kg :)
