  • A backing board has coating. Which side should it be turned? The inside or outside of the bag?

  • Oh dang, everyone I know tapes their bags shut >.>

And the bags I've got don't have the plastic strip thingy...

  • I've been noticing lately that after bagging and boarding my comics, the top of the comic sort of... wrinkles (can't think of a better word). This is a recent issue that I have been noticing and I've never had this issue. Now it's all the time. Call it obsessive compulsive but, it sort of bugs me.

Does anyone have this problem (or at least know what I am talking about) and know what is causing it? I've replaced the bags I have been using, could it be the board?

  • where do you get the bags and boards???

  • comic book stores

  • oh.....ok

    thanks :)

  • I read my moths worth of comics in the bath which can lead to some terrible mishaps! lol

  • I'm a reader. The only thing I do to protect my comics is that I stacked them in an alternating fashion so that don't get curved. Don't kill me! :D If I ever get into collecting, bag 'n board would be essential.

  • This is too sweet. They even added an f-ed soundtrack!

  • I've noticed that only comic book stores - have those acid-tate plastic bags and boards. Aren't there other places to get a collection of those products ?

  • @geargail websites, man. websites. go to my videos and look under any one of them but the last one. use the link to MyComicShop there. it has my affiliate ID so i can get a kickback from what you spend.

  • what do you mean by seal? i fold the tag inside the polybag so it is between the front cover and front of polybag. is this right? (if i have a board for it, which i don't for all comics, it is between the board and back of polybag

  • @bobafettfreak nah, I'd go with scotch tape. visit youtube(dot)com(slash)comicandgamedomain

  • Ha ha. That was funny. I'm a casual comic book reader and find most comics too expensive. I wish comic book publishers would print 2 editions of a title- the "collector's" edition w/ high quality / glossy paper meant for the bag & board and a lower-quality newsprint edition. Now that I'm old- I'm really more about reading comics than collecting. Or make'em available for download for 1/2 the price.

  • Yeah, but then I'd go nuts trying to buy a copy of BOTH! Like Marvel doesn't produce enough variants.

  • how do you get the boards please could you tell me???

  • Most respectable comic book stores should have 'em. Otherwise lots of places online, just do some googlin' for "Bags and Boards Comics"

  • @speedydudecomics you're kidding, right?
