thank you so much for making this video!! YOU ROCK!!! i could see exactly what you were doing and really love the technique! hope i can perfect it myself.
I still can't get over the fact that you're a teenage boy who spins! I'm very impressed with your technique. I'm a new spinner and I have issues controlling the thickness of my yarn with a long draw, but I'll definitely try these techniques. I'd love a fluffy yarn to knit with.
Thanks James for this very educational video - I have been a worsted spinner for years but was always very intimidated by longdraw. But you make it look so achievable and so much less scary! I look forward to expanding my spinning techniques :) Hope you do loads more videos, you're an excellent teacher!
Brilliant as always! Right I've definitely got to practice, if I can only get my American Longdraw to look half as effortless as you do I'll be happy!

Longdraw has got to be my next challenge. Thank you for a clearly filmed and clearly explained video, esp the finishing tips.

Totally cool James, if you're ever in Wales I could do with some tuition :-)

Beautiful spinning! So, you're actually spinning from the fold, is that right? I'm going to have to try this.
Are you on ravelry? I'd love to see pictures of your yarn. Do you knit?

Beautiful, James!
In our spinning group one lady spins like that. I am trying to learn! She said the same - lots of practice and yarn mileage will do the trick.
Amazing how your alpaca yarn looks.
And thank you for talking about finishing tips.

You've inspired me to try longdraw. I'm just dreading going back to beginner yarn now that I'm getting consistency with my worsted spinning.
Also, I'd like to say that it's great to see young people getting into spinning.
