My mind tells me that the Egyptians had not much to do with the Pyramids or Sphinx. I have a feeling that the Egyptians stumbled upon a deserted civilization and hijacked the Sphinx and finished constructing the pyramids that were almost finished by the previous advanced civilization.

the Great Sphinx is called Abul-Hol in Egypt. it has the face of King Khafre and it guards his pyramid. i would love to visit Egypt and see it!
