Diet cola isn't particularly innovative. I mean, it is like cola, except with cheap substitutes for sugar. It was simply more popular because it was a product advertised by certain companies. whereas velcro isn't really a brand-name-based product.
The point is, Velcro brought something new and awesome whereas Diet Cola was just an upgrade. My main argument:Strippers prefer velcro over diet cola.
