I'm upgrading to a Rockinbetter RG4003 (cos I prefer not to be laughed at) - I will say that I got slated by my mates for getting the Viola, it's very unversatile. Real Rics are overpriced on the British market so I wouldnt ever get one of them.

Good job. I have the songbook and you nailed it well. It is a fun bass line with some interesting riffs. I really admire players who can pick up the bass line by ear. I have to read the music and hope that the bass line printed is the actual bass line played and not the piano part. When I lived in Germany in the 80's, I saw lots of Hofner Beatle basses in the music shops. I just got an Ibanez SR1200e yesterday to replace my old SR400 (1992). I am loving it. Good job!

Nicely done. Paul is so famous and acclaimed, as he should be, but not enough praise of his amazing bass lines. This song, "Hello, Goodbye" "Something" and countless others, when the tune comes to mind, it's the bass line I find myself humming as opposed to the main melody. Congrats on nailing this, Maggie!
