Bush said in January 06 that America is addicted to oil but failed to address solutions. When gas was 3 Bush was asked about gas going to 4. He looked puzzled and said I haven't heard that. The Republicans had no clue in spite of the mounting evidence that we were in crisis. That's what happens when you sleep with the oil industry.

1. gas still went up about 50 cents more a year under democrats

2. it would be sucide to decrease imported oil which would decrease supplly with equal demand and then would raise prices by about 100% to 8$

3-4 He is against government mandated cars because the free market can solve those problems. He is not a socialist. Ironically we saw socialism fall in the early 1990s.

This video further underscores that Democrats have no problem with rising gas prices.  They see oil as the problem, and thus don't want to increase supply. American families should not suffer due to Democrat's desire to cut oil usage.

American families have and will suffer for decades to overcome the massive debt incurred by this administration. GV, peak oil has come and gone - the world has less supply at a time when usage has gone up - especially in China and India. We will drill offshore and ANWAR it's just a matter of time. But if we don't find alternatives and learn to conserve as well, our growth and way of life will come to a grinding halt. Get your head out of the sand.
