This is a lap harp called "troubadour", built by the french company "CAMAC". I bought it in 1988. It has three octaves, 22 strings, ranging from c' to c'''', and it has no levers (it's the very basic model). - I hope this will help you!
I'm so glad I found you! Can you tell me what music (published) I can purchase to practice and learn songs. The books I have are for harps with more strings than my pixie. It's frustrating to run out of strings in the middle of a piece. Your playing is beautiful oh by the way!!! I just started playing the pixie harp about three weeks ago. I am a flutist by discipline, and my husband bought me a pixie and I have already have gone through the beginning book!
Regarding sheet music for the harp: I have produced 10 books so far which can all be played on my troubadur harp (22 strings), so most of the pieces (540 altogether!) should be playable on your pixie harp as well! The books contain 60 pieces each (the first only 30 pieces). Some have rhythmical themes like triplets or tresillo. All my you-tube-harp-pieces can be found in these books.
That's great Herr Hebeisen! I've been all over the internet to different music stores trying to locate your books! Can you help me out? I want to get a few of them! I live in America and I've located your website, but I can't seem to find a place to purchace your publications.
Just let me know which booklets you want (i.e. the one that goes together with the CD) and I'll send them to you. If you want, I can find out first how much the postage would be. Also how to do the bank transfer.
Hi! I found out meanwhile what the postage (Europe to USA) for booklets would be (in Euro): 1 booklet: € 15,--; 4 booklets: € 24,--. A booklet costs € 6,-- per piece. I can send you my IBAN and BIC. However, find out first at your bank what the transfer of money would cost! If you decide to go for it I'm happy to send you wahtever booklets you want.
I couldn't find the comments page before otherwise I would have left a message here; I am new to finding my way round youtube. Your music is gorgeous. I am just beginning to learn the harp and have only had two lessons so far; my next quest is to find a harp. I think your lap harp has a beautiful tone and is so portable too. You look like a person who is naturally gifted in music and I bet you didn't have one lesson did you!
@peapod121 All the best with your harp playing! You are right, I did not have one single lesson...
Your question if I could send you my harp-CD: yes indeed I can if you send me your adress. I would also send you my bank account & BIC and IBAN (since I need to cover the production costs); I give CDs away € 10,- a piece, plus postage. Also I have published 6 booklets with harp music so far which are available too!!
That's right! - I got this model in 1988; it's a very basic one - without any accessoires (Klappen?!) - I think they don't even produce this basic model any more!
nice
