  • Now I know what I was doing when news broke that bin Laden died; I was watching this very video!

  • ford model t vs 2012 ford focus ST. let see who wins the drag race

  • I swear to God ... sometime before I die I'm going to buy one of these and supe the HELL out of it. V-8 engine, bitch .. and don't tell me it won't fit because I will make it fit... and don't forget the SUBWOOFERS IN THE BACK...

  • I drove almost the entire east coast of Australia, from Woy Woy to Townsville, in a Holden Caprice and I loved it.

And to think I almost did that ride in a Toyota...

  • 800 for a new car I'll take that LOL but not a model T I had a go kart that could go faster than that thing.

  • A model could between 40 and 45 MPH, much faster then a go kart.

  • ummm no you know they make shifter karts that can easily do 120mph. not to mention that my neighbor has a home made gokart with a 10 horse briggs that tops out at 60mph.

  • Sorry I was guilty, of living in the past. Once upon a time go karts, did not go that fast, You are right, now the do.

  • yea they have tones of videos on you tube with fast gokarts they even have videos of people putting motorcycle engines in them. A little two hundred pound gokart with 250 horse power is nuts I would not ride that.

  • @workensmart

ha if I could get a Model T for 800 I'd take it without thinking.

  • Ah! So, slashing prices do sell more cars! Would be nice to get a half-price Mustang.

  • Well nowadays theres a reason why the mustang costs as it is. Because it has more features and improvement to its system they had to raise the price.

  • then why not cut the extras i dont understand the need for things they put on cars example, air conditioning up to a few years ago it was a option now its standard i think they use that as a excuse to raise the price not improve the car and i mean the problem in the auto industry ------ cadillac escalade hybrid---- enough said.

  • Yeah I agree. In fact it is an excuse and that's how the automotive industry thrives as it is.

  • Nice video!

    From Horsepower Profiles. Com

    The website that wont work

  • Check out my video please trying to get as many hits to win a scholarship for school! Make a good story....lol

  • Then Henry Ford dedicated his efforts to anti-semitism and the mass production of literature of hate which he even provided to the Nazis (the real ones, in Germany). Innovative entrepreneur? Absolutely! American hero? Absolutely NOT!

  • He later sold his newspaper and recanted, but the damage had been done and racists were still quoting his rants 50 yrs. later. After WW2, and the films of concentration camps were viewed, Ford donated millions to Jewish relief efforts. Like many Americans at the time, he never realized the damage prejudice could do.

  • And Ford STILL hasn't updated their four cylinder engine! LOL

  • While it's no longer the right motor for cars, it's been updated and is an excellent industrial motor and is still used worldwide driving air compressors and pumps.

  • Try my video.

  • bele automobili!5/5

  • what is with the random letters

  • Great video. I love the Ford Model T, I also love the Model A Tudor Sedan. My 2002 Ford NEV has similar performance to a Model T, sometimes when I drive it I imagine what it was like to drive a Model T in the old days. I get more on ~Fitness Loving Do Tcom~. I do not know why there are so many hot girls there.

  • Technology peaked with the model T

  • Great video. I love the Ford Model T, I also love the Model A Tudor Sedan. My 2002 Ford NEV has similar performance to a Model T, sometimes when I drive it I imagine what it was like to drive a Model T in the old days.

  • Some fuck, wanna bitch I use foreign built cars? Look at your clothing, electronics, ect. Kiss my ass. I go for style and reliance at the time of such. If you gotta gripe with that, go cry on mama's shoulder. Oh, but wait....do I buy and therefore support crude oil supplied by Nations that treat females as dogs. So, so fucking sorry, Mom, gotta have it.

  • The first automobiles (in the 1800s) ran on alcohol because gasoline had not been invented. Henry Ford's first cars also ran on alcohol. So why don't we go back to running cars on alcohol??? Brazil made the change and they don't need to buy oil from the Middle East. The USA sends $8 Trillion a year to Middle East just to buy oil. And these are the same people who want to kill us. What do you think? Is it worth writing to your Congress-person, or Senator?

  • Brazil also uses their cars a lot less than we do, not to mention having a smaller population. You're right though; with as far as engine technology has come, we should be able to run our cars on damn near anything, but the automotive industry seems to be resisting a full transition to alcohol-based fuel. Yeah they're meeting us halfway with flex fuel vehicles, but that's not gonna cut it for long. Chrysler needs to bring back the turbine car. Damn thing ran on *anything* containing alcohol! :D

  • what???

  • $260 for a car, holly shit I can afford that

  • 260$ now ****ing way

  • That's about $4,000 in 2008 dollars. That's still unimaginably cheap...

  • $4,000 for a golf cart? sounds overprised 2 me

  • but imagine paying that for a Honda Civic. The Model T was WAY more than just a golf cart when it was on sale.

  • Car Mileage: - 1908 Ford Model T = 25 MPG - 2004 EPA Average All Cars = 21 MPG

    Pretty sad, isn't it?

  • Not really being the top speed was about 40-45mph down hill.

But think, with all that's on cat today. A/C\Heat to just windshield wipers alone with speed.

You willing to go back to driving in the wide open, no tunes @ 45mph.

  • MPG i gotz with carbs

    '73 Mazda RX-3-auto = 35+

    '69 Chevelle (327)-auto = 25+

    '78 and '79 Fiat X19 4 & 5 speed = 35+

    '84 Honda wagon 5 speed = 45+

    '86 Z28 (305) 5 speed = 27+

    then fuel injection...yuk

    '87 Toyota p/u FI 4x4 5 speed = 18 maybe

  • Did you own all those forgien cars? What a bummer if you did...You must live in Japan..

  • Let's see. About 23 cars. Mazda, Ford 150 p/u, '69 Chevelle, '66 Chevelle, '78 Fiat X19, '79 Fiat X19 (wonder why?, crashed first one, insurance), '74 Nova, '76 Datsun p/u, '77 Cadillac coupe' deVille, '84 Honda wagon, fucking ect. Point being, I am a USA consumer. I do what I can to buy and "maintain" what I want and need in life. The fact that one, ONLY one vehicle I owned has fuel injection should be the, DUH? You don't control the spark, or fuel. What/Who does? Fuck off lazy shit. LEARN.

  • itapua.. pretty tragic indeed. Still my Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI gets 50mpg. Not the biggest or fastest car in the world, but I fitted a 200 litre water tank for my garden in the back of it the other day, and I can out-drive much fancier cars when there's bends in the road because the handling's brilliant. Also, with rising gas prices I can afford to drive and feed myself! I would imagine that we'll be seeing a few more cars like that on our roads soon. Spiritual successor to the model T?

  • Are you for real? I'd love 50 mpg. But what's with the water tank? You lost me there.

  • I get 63mpg (diesel, UK gallons) which is 52.5 US. That's measured.. my dad was a commercial driver and he trained me to keep a record of my consumption. The book economy is 61mpg. I don't feel that my driving is super-efficient, and I drive at or above the limit most of the time. The water tank comment was a very clumsy attempt to indicate that it is a practical car and acceptably spacious inside! The car is a 2003 model. There are a number of cars on the UK market now that get 70+ (UK).

  • thats offending dude....

  • these cars stink! no ac, my nintendo won't work in there because there is no flat panel tv, and i can't dock my ipod. talk about lame!

  • Good video!

  • how is it july 20th there, and it's only the 19th..

  • haha the vid was added on the 18th and it says july 20

  • You got a spotlight video on this? What's next, the oldest working mobile phone?

  • It still runs at 100 years old. Yet my friends car is only 10 years old and it doesn't. lol.

  • Good video!

  • wow 100 years...

  • Excellent documentary. Long live Model T

  • Wow. Thats an old car.

  • woot first comment!!!!!

  • Grow up, please.

  • i will never grow up like peter pan
