  • He teaches me drums at WTMS!!!

  • I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!

  • this is my manager too :) lol

  • this is my manager XD

  • technically he did 967 strokes, not 967 paradiddles, but whatever its still fast as hell

  • @DreamTheater4life then its four strokes per paradiddles get a calculator and that comes out to 241.75 paradiddles

  • I bet he jacks off like a pro.

  • julian percy's paradiddles are faster.

  • mr lecompte is a drum instructor at west thibodaux middle school not hes my sons drum teacher and a pretty cool guy

  • @createeer he is my drum instructor there too. he is very cool and can dust anyonw at paradiddles.

  • is he left handed?

  • i see a bit of pinky out on his right hand. now i dont feel so bad.

how do these guys count? my paradiddles are faster when i count them in 16th note triplets.

  • I just work up a tempo and play evenly

  • When I do my paradiddles for speed I don't really count in standard because it's to fast for anyone to count. I say "da." Each "da" is the 1st beat. So in reality I'm saying "da" and then there is 3 hits after it. Da (1st hit), 2 hit, 3rd hit, 4th hit, Da, 2nd hit, etc. So after a time you can't count your paradiddles. Just make a sound so you know when beat one is then follow through till beat one again.

  • no a paradiddle is just rlrr a paradiddldiddle is rlrlrr

  • a paradidle is rlrr ur are right , but a double paradidle is rlrlrr and a paradidle didle is rlrrll

  • you are right on ur double paradiddle, but I'm almost certain that a regualar paradiddle is rlrrlrll not rlrrll

  • Retard...

  • @Tri473 dude your wrong. Paradiddle = RLRR / LRLL

    Paradiddlediddle = RLRRLL

    & Double Paradiddle = RLRLRR / LRLRLL

  • @Tri473 no a paradiddle-diddle is RLRRLL, a DOUBLE paradiddle is RLRLRR

  • shit... hes awesome

  • Sam Eric broke your record. lol.

Miss ya buddy, I promise we are doing lunch soon.

    Seth D.

  • guys, its 967 times he HIT

however many PARADIDDLES he did i dont know, divide it by four. 218 i think someone said ??

still pretty insane for one minute

  • how much costs the drumometer?

  • eight notes is the full paradiddle right? or are they just counting each note individually?

  • he's right 967 notes and 218 full paradiddles

  • Can someone please tell me where I can get hold of one of those counting drum pads? I'd practice loads more if I had one, then I can actually tell if I'm improving or not.

  • it's called a dromometer. You can buy them at guitarcenter or maybe on ebay.$150 at guitarcenter.

  • Dang I got to sit down and work out my hands for like either hours a day lol.

  • world record is Eric Okamoto with 1620! look it up if ya dont believe me.

  • @2Luke

i looked it up and Eric Okamoto got 1620 with closed double strokes, not paradiddles.

  • wtf i dont believe that

  • at is a lie lol, there is no way he did 967 paradiddles...that meter counted every time he hit the drum, you hit the drum 4 times in a paradiddle, he never did 967 paradiddles in a minute and never will, but still, hes insanely good

  • its 967 beats...

  • But going that fast, how do you know if he's actually doing a paradiddle?

  • they show a slow motion part where you can see that the paradiddle is perfect

  • Slowing down the vid obviously, he makes a different motion then when he would play singles and it "sounds" different. (Which is logical as left and right can't be sounding equal al the time.)

  • Yeah he is doing a paradiddle, look at his hand movement, each hand lifts up a little before he does the next diddle. Its just he is playing them at tripple speed so he does a rest ever like five diddles.

  • hehe Gold

  • excellent whos the fastest parradiddle using traditional grip?

  • excellent i guess most people do match grip with these contests instead of traditional whos the fastest traditional parraddiddle?

  • Me.

  • Rick Beckham does it faster with his right arm on his back. Follow the link:

    youtube(DOT)com/watch?v=SHmdO4W0OhY

  • i think i agree with you!!this rick beckham is really fast and way more clean!

  • i agree

  • That would mean an INCREDIBLE total of 2120 strokes in a minute doing paradiddles. TOTALLY sick and unparalled since then.

  • at around 06:51 to 06:57 (at the "solo de bateria de buddy rich" video on youtube - that one with Sinatra introducing him) Buddy was playing an INCREDIBLE amount of 32 freaking strokes per second!!! INSANE paradiddles. World's fastest by far, no doubt. Find it and be amazed. :p

  • where's the accent :O

  • nice

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn lol

  • Don't you hate it when people come on to these internet sites and talk themselves up? I do too.

But I could absolutely DEMOLISH this paradiddle "record."

  • im sure u cant. go record yourself with a counter and post a link and we'll see......

  • fine I'll set the record for most flam taps in a minute

  • oh shit

  • incredible. the slow motion is fantastic.

  • The slow motion is fantastic and shows how smooth and even he is.

  • i have 1120 bpm single strokes on that one

  • cool, divide that by four

  • Cool seeing each diddle in slow mo!
