That's pretty much how every place ever describes the form of animation. Though the previous commenters calling the maker of this video a "stop motioner" are pretty stupid. Very nicely done! I have to ask though, how did you manage to pull off making the cape move so fluidly? It doesn't look like it was added after the fact (via after effects or something) but I can't think of how you'd pull it off (at least easily) with stop motion. (Of course I would say my skills & knowledge pale quite a bit in comparison to yours)
