I've been trying to figure out the fingering and phrasing of the last two measures, just before the tune goes into the part where it switches to G Major (that's right where you stopped the excerpt.) Watching your fingering, I was able to nail it in 3 or 4 tries. Thanks!
@HUNDuffman -- thanks...check out my brother's Hungarian Dance No 2 which we just posted yesterday. i was sightreading this piece so i wasn't really focusing on vibrato :)
woa, i was in a violin shop and i saw a violin exactly like that, the flower, the markings on the side :D. Does your parents own a violin shop in England, may i ask?
@kity0114 -- its a 19th century tyrolean violin. we just posted a video of a similar violin this week that has a very similar back...we forgot to show the back on this vid but its is beautifully inlaid...if you check out our latest video, you'll see the work that was inlaid...along with the "rope" edge, its a remarkable instrument.
@ChristianOrtega123 -- it's a beautiful violin for sure. it was part of a massive collection of instruments that belonged to a professional violinist who passed away a few years ago. their family asked my brother and i to help catalog the collection...that was three years ago. we've recorded and posted 365 videos...each of a different violin or viola in the past 3 years. you can see me and my brother playing our own violins on our personal channel ~~~~ Musicasa2ndLanguage
