This is so much better than the one that's used in the game. Persona 2's OST was a complete let down to me. I don't see why they'd put the original as an option, and then create a remixed soundtrack that is almost identical.

No reason to get upset about the soundtrack remixes, since you can choose to listen to them or the original. That is one of the features being mentioned with the PSP release.

its not a bad song in itself but as a battle theme compared to the original... the original was faster and more hyped giving more of a sense of a tense epic battle this just gives a slower less tense battle of destiny kind of feel it doesnt quite fit with some of the battles

@SamaelStarke By new arranges do you mean the new soundtrack? If so, then it's way better than the P1P OST. They didn't add crappy J-Pop vocals. Almost all of the new music is already up on Youtube (some of them on the sidebar).

@conan263 More epic and evil? Hardly. The 0:48-1:18 are quite calm when compared to the original's constant, agressive battle beat. I'm not saying that Meguro's version is bad (as it isn't), but too many people are overlooking the original's merits as they are used to P3's and P4's "more groovy" music. The other version of the remade KothS (Toshiki Konishi's version) has a funny "UFO beep", but is a bit more faithful to the original. But, as I said, this isn't bad either.

Loved this version, wish they didn't cut too much the lyrics though. After all, the voices always seemed to say something regarding a certain someone of these "Knights" LOL and it's his battle song too
