  • i honestly cannot picture myself spending that much on a camera, i will just feel people ae going to rob me for it.

  • i like the song very much:) what is the name of the song?

  • @umar220 it looks like that difference among simply semi pro and expert is smaller today. d7000 is perhaps all many of us need. go to... freedslr . com remove spaces and try to get an opportunity to win a Brand New Nikon D7000

  • Compared to the 5D's autfocus, the mark IV's autofocus (even on stagnant objects) is just so superior there is no comparison even amongst other models of the same caliber. I have both and use both very often. I just cant get over how poor the 5D's autofocus is, but the image quality is outstanding nonetheless.

  • @yurisendrew how does the 5d compare in movie mode? The same I suspect

  • Never knew 1D Mk IV was tested in Bali by looking at the Kecak Dance in the video.

  • Hey I just posted a video shot with the 1D to show its low light capabilities in case anyone is interested...just click on my name to check it out.

  • The more MP you cram on a sensor just makes the quality weak don't be fooled with the MP hype a 24mp point and shoot couldn't compare with a 5mp full frame DSLR get it right people the more do not always make it better they are all good cameras it who's behind them. Great video.. Getting mine soon.

  • wtf.Mark IV is actually better than most Proffesional camcorders.LOL..

  • with the Mark IV as much as I hate to see it....but the days of film are certainly numbered.

  • yes and no....... I still shoot Large Format 4x5 on a weekly basis for clients. The quality is still incomparable for them.

And i was brought up in the digital world still....... FILM FOREVER ! :-) (I Hope)

  • @d3layedreaction

    I agree

  • Of course theres a big difference for more pixels, you wont notice it on a regular size viewing but if you need to crop your pictures you will see the big difference and most of the sports, wildlife, media type photographers are always cropping their photos. and if you crop you loose detail but in case of 1d mark 4 theres still very good detail coz of the 16mp. worried about noise, dont be coz canon now has the best technology to deal noise, the new double digic 4 prosessor for less noise

  • Rubbish. You can't process your noise away, without losing details

  • @spotgreeen That is why you get a good enough sensor that you dont need to crank up the ISO to get good images.

  • lol one cf slot, and once again they've gone for the amatuer 'I want more pixels' the difference of 4 megapixels is an inch and a half in print.. and alot more noise, what a mess. Canon the windows Vista of photography. btw D3x is 24 megapixels if that type of thing floats your boat.

  • lol, so you're just going to go from video to video stamping this "funny" new catch-phrase of yours, canon, the windows vista of photography? Witty stuff.

I have a 5D mark ii and I have vista/windows7. I do studio work and my prints look absolutely stellar. I can't say I can relate with your point of view.

  • Talking about the camera thats not even out yet and haven't had it in your hands for test is foolish, you sound more like an amateur. Your just one of those photo geeks who wish they could have at least a lower end cameras.

  • You sound like one of those kooks that posts a bunch of useless stuff on youtube but can't afford even a camera phone. Just saying.

  • The sensor of the Canon 1D-Mark IV is slightly smaller than a FX format D3-D3s still packs more IQ than the D3's family of (stuck at) 12.1 mp sensors. Btw there are more point and shoot cameras that have greater mp's than the D3 Family.

  • Good in every aspect of shooting mostly sports, don't need a teleconverter.

  • It's APS-H. Smaller than full frame but 60% bigger than APS-C.

    Thinking about Nikon D3s....

  • Dude are you lost or something, this is not a nikon forum. i think you better of with nikon d90 first before planning to move on a higher level camera. Or better yet get a credit card i heard in US they lending credit card like candy.

  • Nope. I'm not lost. Maybe you don't read between the lines.

Got me a 5DM2 as back-up. Thinking of upgrading to a better FF but the 1DM4 is a let down. That's all.

"Once a full frame, always a full frame"

  • Get your self a nikon d3s, and hopefully you wont get dissapointed. dude open your eyes to the possibilities what the 1d mark 1V can do, full frame wont make you a better photographer, its what your knowledge about photography that can make you one.

  • I'm just kidding dude. Never gonna betrayed Canon. Trust me.

The only thing I hope from Canon is 1D series with FF and 1DM4 other spec.

That day gonna make me the happiest man alive ;)

  • dude my advice check out the " round table: advice on choosing a new dslr- including canon 7d and 1d mark 4" it will open your yes why canon still prefer APS-H sensor. just look at your right hand side on related videos.

  • I'm sure they will come out with a mark 4 Ds that will be full frame, just like they did with the mark3.

  • doen this cam is full fame ? i saw it at 27.9 x 18.6 CMOS
