I really enjoyed seeing this. However as a general comment...I could not hear you speak over the birds. Perhaps a clip on mic may do the job so viewers could hear the great information that I assume goes along with this great video. Thanks.
@alalev, As far as I can know. All our domestic animals that have been domesticated for centuries had a soul agreement to be so. I do not think these majestic bird that mate for a life time and NEED their parents comfort and love have asked for this to be done to hem??? If it is their karma then it is ours to release them from confinement!! Dogs, cats and "livestock" are a whole other story...
@lisaaj40 dogs and cats were once wild as well... i appriciate what this man is doing... im not sure where you are located, but in the U.S. in all states it is legal to kill these magical birds for no other reason than for sport or if you think they are being a nuisance. I'm glad for the kindness I see these birds getting and I commend this man for his efforts to save these beautiful and misunderstood birds.
@kaixdokki Dont take this a "Mr know it all" comment because I dont disagree with your point of view but in this case the birds are all non native species, you can not raise and sell native migratory birds it is protected by law. So he isent technically "saving" these birds.
That's all very good but don't birds just like any animal need the comfort of it's mother for healthy and proper growth? Some of those birds don't look so healthy to me...
MAN FUCK ALL THESE BIRDS, FUCK ALL YOU FAGGOTS. U CAN HAVE A DICK UP YOUR ASS, I CANT EVEN FUCKNIG SLEEP. MAYBE I SHOULD STICK ONE OF THESE UP YOUR MOTHERS ASS
Woah, I really would like one of your birds, I have a cockatiel right now now and he is a joy to be around but I love crows and ravens even more. When Im an adult and have my own house i am going to get a South American Yellow Headed Vulture and a White Necked Raven. The vulture will be Delgado and the raven would be Oreo
@ratrod67 While structurally they are much more ravens then crows, they are smaller (about the size of a carrion crow) I didn't name them so I cannot say this is the only reason for the name decision,
really cool dude much respect I love crows such smart birds. Also your sons going to follow in your foot steps just how hes not asking questions or playing around watching how you do everything lol luck guy
This is FANTASTIC....!!! I've been in the avian field now, for 20+yrs. And have extensive field knowledge, working with wild species. As well as, "domesticated" pet birds, I.E. parrots, etc...And the one species, that has fascinated me the most, is the "Corvid species". The intelligence, that they possess, is right up there with the large Macaws and other large parrot species. However, i never imagined, that someone would care, to even take the time in taming these beauties into "family pets.
Definitely hoping to own one someday. Hopefully the laws will reverse themselves and I'll own an all-black Raven, but if not, definitely ordering one someday.
@litledevel15 you can only have crows.. or a white necked raven iirc.. ravens are obviously superior and an all black one is even superiorer to a white necked raven
Brian, what an excellent video. Its like heaven watching it. You are very busy feeding them birds but keep up the good work as the corvids are one of the most beautiful birds on the planet as far as I am concerned. I have a few crow files on youtube myself and hope to be uploading two more in the next day or two so watch out for that. Best wishes from John Wantling, Rochdale, Lancashire, UK.
What are you feeding your birds in this video? Could I get an ingredients and preparation list from you if your willing to share that?
Wow, I'm very impressed with the set-up you got there! My family has been bird breeders for many generations, mostly handleing finches, doves, quails, and chickens so it's very cool to see something different like what you're doing!
@ Darkfirelol1019 - Birds naturally figure out how to fly - I don't think that any of the birds they raise are migratory, and even if they were, they're going to be pets (and I assume zoo animals), so they don't need to be taught anything.
this is amazing. i always wondered if you could have a crow as a pet. its a little weird though that you can have an "exotic/ foreign" bird, but having a native local one is considered a no no. i found a sparrow chick that fell/kicked out of its nest and raised it. its a year and a half old now. " little brown ones always hanging around trash cans" i guess i've been breaking the law for a year and a half. i would love to own a crow. even got one tattooed on each shoulder. hail odin?
@memberjacket Sparrows are introduced birds so you may have nothing to worry about. They're considered pest birds as they're not indigenous to N.A. but had a population explosion,. I came across that info looking up racing pigeons & hawk rearing.
Corvids already get enough love on the internet, I'm here for the vultures. Beautiful video. I've been checking the ranch's webpage for years, I'm glad to know that it's still around.
@EvilCherryMuffin Hi I am the queens keeper of ravens in the UK. The castle aviaries breed and sell african pied crows. and are hoping to have raven hybrids next spring. If you are interested in buying one from us. please get in touch with me.
Brian is a great guy! I have a beautiful spoiled female from him and I believe she is one of the birds in the video. I wish I had a quarter of his knowledge.
I love the corvid family, such beautiful, intelligent birds. I thank you for making them available to us in America. I one day hope to get a raven from you, but am currently unable to due to various constraints.
If anyone is interested in becoming a Parent to one of these amazing birds then Brian is the "Go To" guy. I have 3 of his birds and they are truly spectacular with great temperaments & personalities because they were raised by someone who knows what they're doing. He also cares about where the birds are going which is a nice touch.
Thanks again Brian from me, Abi (White Neck Raven), Oreo (Pied Crow) & Craven (Hybrid).
all the birds I have purchased from Brian have been flown to me from Alabama to California when they were approximately 3 mos old. It was an easy process & Brian always makes sure that they don't fly when it's too hot as this could kill them. His prices are listed on his website or you can call him directly to get the current prices. One of the birds I bought is a Hybrid, Asian Brown Neck Raven/Pied Crow mix & is jet black though there's no guarantee on final color when you buy a Hybrid.
i would have so much fun there
