i should also add that once the Farrah shampoo was no longer on the market and it was a Faberge product, in my opinion i think Faberge still sold the shampoo but under another name like Faberge Organics Shampoo..I used a lot of Faberge products in the 80s and the Farrah shampoo and the eventual Organics shampoo pretty much had identical scents..very dinstinct..and I had used a lot of Farrah shampoo/conditioner so I was pretty familiar with the scent...wish a Faberge representitive could verify
as a young Canadian kid I remember using this shampoo..the scent was really nice..i had the first edition bottles with the pic of Farrah on the front..then in the very early 80s the bottles changed and they just had Farrahs name on the bottles but no photo, and the bottles were tall and circular...i saved those bottles for the longest time, then disposed of them..wish i had of kept them..
I worked at Faberge in Canada in the early 80's. We had the pleasure of meeting Farrah while promoting her shampoo. She was friendly and down to earth but I got the impression that she was not thrilled with the hoopla that came with stardom...and I didnt blame her. I witnessed the way people acted around her and she clearly did not accept their ass kissing.
I think you are quite right MelanieLou! Although I am certain there are celebs that love it, Farrah was not one of them. She was a real person and just lovely!
It was great shampoo Felicia! I was lucky enough to get it for free as I worked for Faberge. Farrah was lovely and she deserved a huge send off although Michael Jackson's death unfortunately overshadowed poor Farrah. I was furious that she was not included in the Academy Awards presentation of actors who had passed. Michael Jackson was included which infuriated me! Farrah proved her talent in a number of movies and the Academy should be ashamed.
@poltallach The Academy's nonmention of filmstar Farrah's passing was an omission that should live in infamy. As impardonable was 2009 Best Actor winner Jeff Bridges' -- in 1980 he'd costarred with her in "Somebody Shot Her Husband."
I bought that shampoo, brings back so many memories, I had the big Farrah hair only brunette, she was the most beautiful woman, an icon, RIP Farrah.....
I'm glad she died, because i never felt right masturbating to her clips on youtube, (particularily her cancer-striken face ones) NOW, i can once again enjoy shooting my load as high as I can, so that I can touch the face of that angel (pardon the pun) cheers! BIG fan
I had the " Farrah do".....it was the ultimate cut for every girl, gave you volume and movement; in Farrah's Story, I thought it was so sad but beautiful to share the removal of the most famous mane of all...God bless you Farrah !
Farrah was an icon and a trend setter. She set the pace for having big hair. I owe a lot to Farrah for that...I have gigantic hair and she made that an okay thing. Hang in there Farrah.
I remember it well! I love Farrah, and I am holding her in my prayers. Farrah's shampoo really did smell great! Seems like yesterday, hard to believe it's been thirty years!
My Mom and I used to live for our hair and when our "wings" were perfectly blow-dryed and full we said we'd "Farrah-rized" our hair. Ahhh, the good days!
I had the "Farrah hair" not long ago, it works really well on me beacuse I have natral curl, my hair is really long and grown out now but I think I am going to get it cut like this again, It's such a fun hair cut and I get so many complaments!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16 Your Bible)
her official website is selling the old shampoo and conditioner bottles plus hair spray. but its not meant for use since its expired, only collection. but smelling should be okay :)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Jesus Christ, because he had anointed him to preach the gospel to the poor, he had sent him to heal the broken hearted. to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering sight to the blind, to set at liberty to them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18-19 Your Bible)

That was an incredible shampoo. Too bad it did not go on. I think Pantene is similar but not as good. She provided a great product.
