In regards to Scott doing Dave songs was probably because this was when Scott first joined the band. This was one his earliest shows.

I don't care who's the 'BEST' they ALL had moments, and they created what are my favorite records. I was lucky enough to have seen ALL the singers gig live in the band. Also Milo with the Descendents. Keep it rockin' everyone.

Mmm...you are correct; I have no right to blast your opinion. I'm a little biased because I actually know these guys, and because one of my best bandmates and friend became the final singer. I've posted elsewhere regarding my respect for Scott. Scott's good people. Scott and Dave are very distinct in thier vocal approaches, and they fit perfectly the times and recordings that they were a part of with ALL. Listening to Chad, he encompasess a bit of Dave, Scott, and Milo.

the song is "Just Perfect" and its the first track on Allroy Sez originally sang by Dave Smalley.......Stephen Egerton is on the Descendents cd named "ALL" and he also appeared on "Liveage" , "Everything Sucks" and every ALL recording since day one.....in terms of singers this is how i rank them ....of course Milo then Scott then Dave and finally, and the singer i least liked is Chad.....

As far as ALL singers I go Chad as my favorite, Scott second, and Dave 3rd. Ironically Dave Smalley is probably one of my top favorite singers of alltime, but I didn't like him in ALL too much.

@drummermylo Yea Scott is definetly the best of them, Milos voice is legendary and i love it with descendents but Scotts voice is so smooth and unique, i cant get enough of theyre "Scott era" songs...Chad blows...thats my personal opinion though

I agree. Chad doesn't make up for it with personality or stage presence either. Back in '93 I had a conversation with Karl and he said Scott was the best singer they ever had.

@nastypaul06 you guys should check out live plus one , and compare Chad's voice to Scott, check out Descendents latest albums Chad's voice blends perfect w/ Milo, Chad is the back up vocals on Everything Sucks.

I have seen all three of the lead vocals perform live, but you can't say that Chad don't have the personlaity or stage presence because he's got great energy and stage performance as well.

@WannabeMilo I have Live Plus One and Chad's pretty good on the record. He's come a long way since joining the band. But I'm telling you Scott was a better frontman, singer, and performer (and musician). I lived in the same town as these guys and saw the change and it was like night and day. Check out this early Chad appearance on Conan: ALL - Million Bucks (Live, 23rd May 1995). He sucks as far as frontman, and sounds ok. Their best work was the Scott years, some Smalley too.

@nastypaul06 Saw all three of them live RiotFest Oct 6-7 2011.Scott have better sense of humor and many of hit songs during the albums they released was written by Bill and Karl but you can't base Chads appearance on Conan vs the live shows I have seen between Scott and Chad, Ive seen both guys more than multiple times live and I have enjoyed all shows with both singers, you think that she's my ex version of trailblazer was better than live plus one or Scotts Can't Say @ Fuji better than Chads?
