@Captaincappy1994 Well put. That's something that IMAO this genre like Satriani is too "technical". That's not to say that Satch, or Vai sound "bad" but there's a fine line between being too tech, and still allowing the character of the player to emerge. I hear some mistakes, albeit brief but that's precisely what it needs. Matt is definitely ridiculously amazing. Period.

Playing music, really playing it and getting into it is like having good sex. There's no way you can have good sex and not make faces.
