This "documentary" should be used in journalism classes as an example of how not to conduct an interview. It is something that should no longer be aired out of respect for Michael Jackson and his family because it is full of nothing but lies and innuendo. Bashir was totally inappropriate in speaking to and having Gavin as a part of it when he did not have parental consent.

This "documentary" should be used in journalism classes as an example of how not to conduct an interview. It is something that should no longer be aired out of respect for Michael Jackson and his family because it is full of nothing but lies and innuendo. Bashir was totally inappropriate in speaking to and having Gavin as a part of it when he did not have parental consent.

@stonegrooved Judging from the interview's I've heard and the court transcripts I've read, many people were aware that Michael Jackson would drink wine through a soda can while calling it Jesus Juice (so that his children wouldn't know he was drinking alcohol).
I wouldn't say that it was beyond the realm of possibility that these children accusing them (who already had a shaky record) would remember this well-known fact about Jackson and use it against him to support their case in court.

Judging from the fact that Michael Jackson was found innocent of these charges, and also by the fact that the entire reason he called the wine "Jesus Juice" in the first place was in order to prevent himself from being a bad influence to children, then logic would tell me that the answer is no.

this documentary purposely portrayed Michael as a pedophile, but you cud tell that he's just someone who like to being around children. It's hard to make children like you!! I remembered watching this on TV back in 03, and I forgot about it until in 05 media brought this up again, and I was thinking... errh it didn't seem like Michael was doing anything other than try to treat the children nice to me.
