Myself and my Marines were fully capable of operating every weapon system we would or may possibly be operating. Civilian issue is about $200 for an HE Grenade plus tax though so that might be where your getting confused with it.

He's holding it wrong... Ive seen dozens of poorly trained American soldiers... Is you training really that bad? He didnt press the Stock into his shoulder. When firing single shot with this heavy M16, its ok, even if he will have to reset the gun after every shot. But with an M203, PLEASE press it hard into your shoulder. Otherwise, either you will get hurt, or your Wrist will get too much punishment

@andromedarr I'm not military, and there's plenty on youtube who will be happy to correct what I miss, but I'm pretty sure that while many military personnel in the US receive basic combat training, many of them are not combat soldiers and so do not have as much drilling and training with firearms as their jobs focus their skills and training elsewhere. Even those who do receive focused combat training are not always trained as much as other units, as it is expensive/time consuming.

@MouthofSaurons It uses a combination of the MARS and 203 leaf sights. Basically you align the MARS with the range you're trying to shoot at on the leaf sight, and fire.

Of course, you still have to account for elevation and wind, but its a pretty simple system.
