At times I feel so much closer to the non-muslim communities than the Muslim community. Latinos are drawn towards a sense of community, belonging, and family. I know what Islam is about, but I haven't felt it around me lately. When I do feel it it's only by a small fraction. Maybe I just need to move somewhere. At times I wonder why I am still Muslim.
