It makes it appear as if the two organizations are closely related when they aren't. Considering how much the NRA was vilified in the first half of the movie, I believe this was completely intentional of Moore, and that is what annoyed me. I like my Documentaries to be balanced and factual.

After I watched the really great documentary Programming the Nation, I'm weary of all media. The whole middle ages had no slavery in Europe (partially because you already have semi-slave poor peasants toiling on feudal lords land). Now I'm aware that slavery was practiced in the Middle age by Middle Easterners as well.

Third Michael Moore distorted some of our history in this movie and did not list interventions that are viewed favorably such as Kosovo and Bosnia. Fourth this video heavily distorts our history such as claiming Americans kidnapped Black people when it was local African tribes and Europeans who did that. We actually banned the slave trade in 20 years.

It makes it appear as if the two organizations are closely related when they aren't. Considering how much the NRA was vilified in the first half of the movie, I believe this was completely intentional of Moore, and that is what annoyed me. I like my Documentaries to be balanced and factual.

After I watched the really great documentary Programming the Nation, I'm weary of all media. Everyone is pushing their own agenda and most of the time they're willing to lie or exaggerate in order to get a point across. The whole middle ages had no slavery in Europe (partially because you already have semi-slave poor peasants toiling on feudal lords land). Once Europeans settling around the globe, slavery was vogue again.
Now I'm aware that slavery was practiced in the Middle age by Middle Easterners as well.

I love this documentary for its sheer ignorance. 1. 1/20 of the slaves taken out of Africa went to America, the rest went to South America, Europe, and the Middles East, 2. White people did not kidnap black people in Africa, African tribes and warlords captured their fellow Africans and brought them to the coast where they SOLD them to the white people for a profit. 3. Americans tend to be afraid of every little thing and every little person unlike many other places around the world because the media (the news) is constantly telling you to be afraid.
