I get the impression you base your reviews on saabkyle which isnt a bad thing i guess but you should prolly be more yourself, good review all the same
Bonnet release on left hand side because it's a European car -- they think of things from the perspective of the driver sitting on the left. Japanese pick-ups may well (I don't know) tend to have the release on the right because they think of things from the right hand drive perspective right from the drawing board.
very nice,i wish they had these in the US,btw the Land rover free lander(im not sure if they have it in europe or not)has the hood release on the passenger side aswell.That kinda pisses me off because its not a conveinient place to put it,but there are tons of other places that are crazy to put it
@integraz32lover we do have the freelander, check my account, i did a short review of one. yeh i dunno why they put the hood release on the passenger side, its inconvienient messing around like that. the might aswel have put the radio in the back seat hahaha. over all though the Amarok is a good truck and because its classified as a commercial vehicle, there are no trim lines.
@TheAuto101 I dont think anyone would buy one, there tiny which doesnt make them very practical especially for commercial use, not very refined and quite expensive compared to what the US has to offer not to mention the engine is a joke, but based on the euro fuel prices its what sells. I do however think germany should take on the US truck market especially with their new efficient V6 and V8 diesel engines, my dad pays 4k a month in fuel costs for his fleet of F series trucks in the US
@petayV8 well im not going to argue with you but in europe we do not need V8 pickup's the amarock is perfect and its very practical. alot of US pickup's would be massive on european roads and the fuel consumption in them is a joke. no offense or anything. a 2.0 Diesel is ideal for a pickup. a huge thirsty V8 is unnecessary.
@ShanesAutos my comment was a reply to integraz32lover saying they should sell them in the states and i was stating why it wouldnt work, if anyone in the europe used a truck for was what they were originally designed for it wouldnt in europe either but in europe they are quite happy with big vans and flatbed transits. however in general a 2.0 diesel is not ideal for a truck unless the most you want to haul is a couple of tents, no offence also
This Car is perfect

@integraz32lover
i totally agree that we should have these in the states.
TheAuto101 7 months ago
@TheAuto101 but the reason why they dont is because these are built in south america and to ship them to the US would make the price go up alot
integraz32lover 7 months ago
@integraz32lover no reason they couldnt build them at the US plant if they wanted to
