I think this song was just badly mixed. A lot of the time, w/ or w/ out Nathan, Richard's barely audible. I think the producers just fucked up with this song. I still like the way it sounds. The musicians are still the same. I like the new tone to be honest. Personally, I prefer Nathan's voice over Roland. Not to say Roland sucked, I loved the early albums but Nathan is better in my book.

on topic again; this is my fav song of this album, its good but its not a kickass like "Freelancer," "Denied," "Aftermath," & "Double Agent 616" .... But give this band a chance peeps.

its sad at first, hearing some of the songs from this album, i was sad, cuz it wasnt the old sonic syndicate but this cd is how do i put it...kick ass. its new vibe, new sound, new style, and isnt that what the old sonic syndicate was about, being catchy and kicking ass, while breaking down genres, cause thats how i see them, and they r still doing that. so they got a new singer, bands, evolve and change their sound but yea, this cd is amazing so get over it people, they still rule

Yeah, they were heavy to a certain extent. But thats only because Richard was there to team up with Roger in demands to write a couple heavy songs. Now Richard is gone, and chances are, when the tour for this new album is over, they will not hire a new harsh singer. Had you known what was going on behind the scenes, you'd understand, but obviously you dont.

Had Richard not been there for the recording of this album, basicly all the songs would be like Turn It Up.

@Crossopterygii Same thing he's done for 3 years, don't sing... or sing backup... but most of their ballads have screams live like "Enclave", though not on the album, and "Miles Apart", wich actually have screams on the album as well. My Escape will as good as never be played live (it's a really rare song in their setlist) and Contradiction... well, i don't know... guess Richard screams there, and I neither don't know when it comes to "My Own Life" and "Perfect Alibi", screams don't fit there.
