The cadenza is superb. The technique is on a par with the late Michael Rabin. This guy is a supernova, not just a star. He will have a great career.

There is a recording of this cadenza by Domenico Nordio with the spanish RTVE orchestra that is AWESOME. I have this recording in a VHS cassette, but I have no player for this old media. Maybe someone can put this awesome recording.

I prefer Sauret's too but I never heard that before and it was really interesting!And this guy has a REALLY GREAT technique!I'm sure he would play Sauret's cadenza perfectly!

I prefer Sauret Candenza but this gave a new feel to the concerto. I dont hate it tho.

literally? i'm not sure about that one. I thought it was very interesting. The melody had an interesting plot to it.
