my uncles got a 427 Cobra, stock im pretty sure they only put out like 400hp but hes got the thing built, he put it on a dyno and it got something like 550hp and 620tq.. its scary fast..

Hate to tell you clowns, but that's either an early 289 cobra, a kit car with lord knows what, or a dumbass that can't drive. Even a 289 would run much quicker than a low 13 if you can drive at all. The upper echelon of Cobras rocked a 427 side oiler that would dyno over 600hp at the crank, from the factory. Take that i6 POS and shove it up your ass.

Standard Mach I had a 351. There was a production Boss 302 and a Boss 429... and Woods Bros. hand built a very limited number of Boss 351's. They were set up to run! This was "around" 1971 but I'm not certain exactly what year.

if you're going to wait for a turbo to spool up, you're going to lose any 1/4 mile against a cobra. most cobra guys are running over 400 straight hp, and they weigh 2/3 of a supra. do the math, and the supra would need 600 hp without a turbo lag. cobra in a 1/4 mile every time. but, put enough money into anything, and you can make it win.
