Good God, it's getting better! I shall listen to him every day to pepare for his concert in mid-December. I've got the tickets already. His approach is absolutely not functional, that's right. No way to dance like this. But what if his interpretation goes deeper? A dragonfly's waltz above water in the sun? Who said our world is limited to the world of humans? Is this actually the soul of waltz? And is our way of understanding a narrow-minded way, limited to our poor human skills?
Virtuoso, indeed. But this is a waltz, man! Even a drunken spider could not dance as fast as he plays the first part. Afterwards he gets so slow that anyone trying to dance a waltz so slowly can hardly avoid falling asleep. It seemed to me that his adoration for his own brilliant skills made him throw the composer aside...
