  • I saw the exact same thing in Cork, Ireland on New Year's last year. It happened at exactly midnight

  • It just dawned on me that its possible that it was a satellite!!!!!! Satellites travel through our skies all the time!

  • yes but not changing directions, in different parts of the world at the same time, just after midnight. whatever it was, wanted to be seen, that is the only conclusion I have reached and the gov cannot hide it anymore, too much technology, mobile phones, camera, youtube, people sharing and communicating. Anyway, that is my humble opinion. Have a nice year!

  • Hello, I saw the same lights here in Southampton. And it seems a lot of people recorded them with their cameras, cool! Opinions are many, and there will always be someone tell you that you are wrong, or it's not scientifically correct, but because we are FREE when choose to decided whatever we want!!! How cool is that! Happy new year!

  • Chinese lanterns. Any man on earth can

make them. Derr. Phone me fucking baaack.

  • A man with no arms cant do it.

  • Why dont you just phone home instead.....

  • that mina girl is bullshit i saw em myself flying horizontally down in tx and they blinked a couple of times

  • Lights appear to blink in the sky due to stuffs in the atmosphere.. I learned that in 9th grade science.

  • Ya we know. These people that have negative feed back are obviously not opening their minds and would rather listen to the ridiculous media who WE called and they had no idea it was happening! So I would like to know who these EXPERTS are with OFFICIAL statements are...and where they get their information. Havent you noticed that there is ALWAYS official statements when there unexplainable events that occur that people actually see. Makes you wonder doesnt it?

  • It is not about opening your mind, some people make their entire career out of staring up at the sky. They know what is unusual

Just because the officials did not know at the time does not mean much. It takes time to gather statements, process data, gather evidence and come to a conclusion.

  • My guess is that they are perhaps observing their skies as they don't want anything that would pollute the atmosphere.

  • Yes youre absolutely right....the whole world is celebrating....ANYWHERE from Sake Margaritas Vodka Coors light Irish Whiskey Wine to whatever other counrty drinks alcohol and celebrates on Jan 1st 2010. What better day than to appear or run flares or military tests or invade EARTH than when the better percentage of our world is celebrating and intoxicated. WE SIMPLY VIDEO TAPED IT. ENJOY! We will NEVER know.

  • HI, I SAW THE SAME HERE IN SOUTHAMPTON but they were brighter and closer. believe me is not a chinese lantern and i don't drink, go figure jajaja happy new year!

  • Except that high def pictures revealed that the lights were Chinese lanterns. So, we do know what they were. People make such an issue over nothing special.

  • What high Def pics? Show me. We have pix too. We inverted colors to see if we could see them better under different coloring and what we found is that EACH light had 3 separate lights. Id like to see a chinese lantern play tricks like that AND be seen all over the world at the same time in different time zones. Also if you look at the video the lights are not straight up and down they are at a slant or diagonal position. I dont know of any candles or flares that have 3 lights on each stick.

  • I think I saw the same ones. You know Fets, you can easily google the high def images it for yourself.

As far as them being all over the world it is not hard to imagine. There are Chinese people celebrating the new year too and they live all over the world and different time zones.

  • nice

  • blue ray project?

  • The straight up and down motion is due to the instability of the human body (photographers hate taking long exposures of people for this reason) mixed with our eyes being incapable of seeing bright objects on dark backgrounds very well. This is well documented, next time you are at the optometrist ask them about this... or even google it.

  • We never said what we thought they were. We simply posted a video of what we recorded that was in the sky last night after the countdown. People all over the world saw the same thing happening. Yes this is a heavy military area. So that would explain why they made such heavy chemtrails...WHY???? Hmmmm Have something to hide? Could be Military...which IF it had anything to do with Alien...WHO would be the first to cover it up?

  • @minagurl7 I've never seen fireworks that have moved from horizon to horizon. These flares as you want to call them were seen right across the Uk. I doubt they were flares. I'll admit my ignorance to what the lights were, but I'd like to see if flares under a controlled deployment could recreate exactly what I saw

  • Official statements said that they were Chinese lanterns.

  • The camera couldnt pick that up but we could see it through binoculars and the naked eye. Whether its military or not, it was definately some kind of air craft that could hover in the same place with rotating lights for over 10 minutes. Maybe we have such a craft that is top secret for our military, who knows. But it definately was not man made chinese lanterns or weather balloons. That is plainly impossible.

  • @fets671 The Chinese lantern idea just doesn't add up, well at least not here in Belfast Ireland, for one I have never seen Chinese lanterns being released on new years before. Also the new years even here in Belfast had very little wind so the chinese lanterns could not have moved that fast even if they were lanterns. Belfast always has helicopters in it skies and I know a helicopter when I see it, or more importantly when I hear one. These lights were silent.

  • It does not add up because you have not seen them, that is not very logical.

Wind is stronger higher up in the atmosphere you go. It is a huge construction problem for engineers building high structures. This is the reason hurricanes are so high up in the atmosphere and the same thing with tornadoes.

  • @fets671 I also considered a meteor shower, but these lights rose from one horizon, to an overhead position, then to the other horizon......Meteors again don't move like that....I'm still at a lose as to thinking of something reasonable to explain these lights

  • I am reasonable. I am an astronomy major. I study the heavens for my profession. I have offered up rational explanations and even given the official statement.

  • Exactly! We know what we saw but dont know what it was. It bothers me when people insinuate that we are lieing when we have proof on video what we saw. These things were way up in the sky....above plane flight or at the highest point that they could fly...yet still visible to the eye. There is no way a weather balloon a chinese lantern or flares could reach that altitude and further more you could see that there was something dark between the lights in some weird formation.

  • It is illogical to say we think you are lieing, no one has said that thus far.

Yes flares can reach those altitudes, the military uses them to perform military drills. They have to be high up or else the risk not performing a safe drill.

Chinese lanterns can fly very high in the atmosphere because they are built to be powered by wind and their fuel supply. If they hit pockets of wind higher up in the atmosphere they float up even further. Google the LUU-2B/B

  • i belive u.......NOT

  • 100s of miles doesnt add up to the UK. Ive seen two other video accounts of the same thing we recorded here on youtube. Although it does seem as though the flares are a logical explaination, It doesnt make sense that the UK saw the same thing at the same time. And why would the military do this on NYE the day that fireworks are flying through the sky all across the world. So that everyone will be looking up in the sky to see them? Come on....

  • And if these were military flares the would have only been seen in a certain vacinity of the sky. Why is it that there are other accounts in the UK that saw the very same thing but with more lights at the same exact time. Check youtube UFO sighting New Years Eve 2010.AVI

  • like the military flares I have seen over a 6 yr period in the high desert. The lights we saw last night never fell, the stayed hovering in the same area and position and then pulled away from our atmosphere... quiet quickly then disappeared. So unless military flares do not fall to the ground anymore ....there is no way these were military flares.

  • I respect your knowledge and education. I would like to share with you my experience with military flares. I used to live in the high desert in Lucerne Valley and have seen military flares over a 6 yr period from the testing sites of 29 Palms. What we saw last night, as I am one of the voices that is in this video, was not what I have seen. Military flares fall to the ground and fade out. The single light pulled away in a horizontal motion and the other two lifted up away from earth. NOT

  • Where was it?

  • +9999999999999999999 fellows is important to the security of the people of Earth. Must be all in full combat readiness.

  • You do know these are military flares. They are high up in the atmosphere, they burn out, and then they disappear. Nothing special.

  • Just seen one of the exact same things in Greystones in Wicklow, Ireland at 9.05 tonight. It was right next to the apartment block and in a globular shape then as it disappeared it was round. Very dark orange. it was going north to south. We hadn't even had a new year drink or anything! Very strange, any ideas?

  • People release chinese lanterns at celebrations. It is likely people just saw the same thing but were unaware that they were lanterns.

  • mmm not!

  • That response is rather childish. People are trying to give you logical and rational responses and you down vote them and cop out in a childish way, that is not very civil.

  • Listen, i think your input is interesting and does give some logical insite thank you. I am the voice of the video and taped this. Here is what I find: Numerous videos of the same evidence from Germany, Poland, Uk, Ireland, Colorado, to el cajon (USA). All with 3 lights, 2 in back move closer together. All in diff time zones. Ive never believed in aliens, but am certain lantern formations can not be replicated exactly from one coast to another. Its just interesting thats all.

  • i knw wht u mean marnld13. i saw it dallas texas. i herd a sound out side around 12:35 tht sounded lke a slow motion hovering helicopter. it sounded loud, i heard it rumble n my ears. and in article tht sum 1 frm london had herd wht i heard becuz he happn to describ it jus like me. i cnt explain nothin becuze were not da fcking goverment. just knw our goverment is keepin us from bein alien food becus we probably would of been dead by now if aliens were dumb enough 2 at least fucking negotiate.

  • i saw the same thing over here in national city

  • I saw them in Belfast just aftermid night moving from the norizon in the north west to south east, very freaky

  • @nriab23 I checked a compass this AM - North to South last night - 40 - 50 of them over manchester - check out my posting on Youtube. - what is going on ???

  • Just some chinese lanterns. I guess now the masses are just now learning of their existence.

  • My brother called me as he was watching these things, i couldnt find them! thanks for posting this video!

  • We saw the same kind of lights over south Birmingham (uk) just after midnight there were over forty of them moving from north to south, one came directly over our house making a strange oscillating, sound freaked us out. They moved across the sky at speed in the opposite direction of the clouds.A wierd start to the new year isn't it ?

  • Considering that the Chinese release high flying lanterns to celebrate it is not all that strange.....

  • Thanks for posting this!! Cool video!

  • we had them in weston-super-mare UK, the same thing, orange orbs going up and down and floating, grouping, splitting and re grouping all just after midnight to 12.25am and dodging in and out of the fireworks.

would have missed it if i hadnt decided to video the fireworks over weston

  • they were probably just playing with thte fire works =)

  • I saw 8 - fantastic

  • Haha its just hot air balloons in small size , i saw like 5 of them and they go whit the wind so all of them go the same way.

and some have more hotair so they go more up han the other :)

  • We live in Scunthorpe, UK. Last night at 0:15 just into New Years Day, we saw about 15 red lights flying above. They were all at about airplane height but all moving in the same direction (north to south) and faster than an airplane. 2 of them moved upwards instead of horizontally, as if they were entering another atmosphere. They gradually flickered out. I tuned into local radio (BBC Lincolnshire) and everyone was talking about it. I phoned into the station and they broadcasted my account

  • We have seen them too here in Liverpool UK. There was over 20 of them coming from everywhere, I was very happy!

It is a good time for Star Visitors too show up because of the amount of Humans looking at the skies. If you want to know more please contact me.

    Happy New Year! :O)
