we did do venosc (only twice as it was wet n muddy) so the vids not that fast
took the jandri once this year, got to the top only to find my gear cable had snapped - we ended up riding the easiest (mainly road) way back
pied moutet and mini diable are my favourites, venosc is sweet when dry but too much hard work, I found the trails from the top too technical and not much fun for me
I'm hoping you posted a Vénosc video on here...? I'm off to look for it... The 'small side' is a good first run warm up... Did you guys take the Jandri up to the glacier & ride down through? We did it a few times last summer, all the way to Vénosc & then drank rosé until we were unable to hook our bikes onto the bubble back up to L2A! Great place, great year of my life!
Must be the airstream 1 - very deep grooved track, and then the normal loop round the mountain.
We don't really use any package company to book, we drive down in a packed out pick up truck and usually book the accommodation separate before hand - either at a place called "le cortina" or via a website where people with flats rent them directly.
The drive is a killer mind, we do it in one day which takes about 12 hours only stopping for fuel
yeah mate, i live near blackwood. Do you mean you take the airstream 1 (more winding track) or do you cycle down the road track to the top of the car park? The Aristream at the top of CC are great, but the Airstream 2 (black run) has recently been remodeled. So is abit softer than it used to be. There's now no tunnel, but they have built up the berms towards the bottom.
How did you go about booking the trip to the Alps, which company etc? Thanks
Despite riding to the top of cwmcarn a quite bit (shut up steve), we've always turned right at the start of your vid and taken the other run - looks alright actually
my fav run personally... uber fast :)
