yes but the most don't know how air combats function. F22 flies to object A 500km away. Radarstation tracks plane Perchora transfer the position to S-400 and it will be shot of range 400km away. planes concept of stealth function only when they fly horizontal. Radar sygnature will increase when it fly not horizontal. And no plane is Stealth. F117 was shot down at night from 40 year old system. The F117 and the B2 has "best" stealth system of usaf. its still useless against radars.

Men that have been flying the F-16 for years can basically push the limits and wreck up the F-22. Yes I am American but I am actually european blood. I am doing the SU-47 for my model. But anyways, men that have been flying the F-16 for many many years know the limits of the F-16 and can literally destroy the pilots of the SU-47 and F-22 Raptor.
Nice looking Ride, however its bulky profile makes it an instant huge target for even a sniper on a mountain top. Should have gone slim and sleek to go faster move in undetected and make kill shots! I think it looks nicer than its practicality. Good hovering ability though not many jets can do that!

Though at very high speeds it might be more unstable due to increased coefficient of wings, but that all depends on the thrust dynamics, which I do not know.

@margav One major aspect, if there was an encounter between the two, would be which plane got detected first. As F22 carries missiles in an internal bay, it takes a very small period of time to activate them, while Berkut can fire once locked on.
But F22 imho is more stealthy, so thus there is a sort of stalemate, thus as I said it cannot truly be predicted unless you know all aspects of the event.

Though as I don't have up to date information, this might have changed. Though at the time there were 2 other 5th gen. jets under development, one of which has made first public flights quiet recently.

yes but the su47 use RAM not the same as the F22 and yes the 22 is ALOT shorter. and no SU47 wouldnt be better in a close dogfight, the 47 can easily stall whereas the 22 thrust vectering allows you to pitch the nose over quickly and keep powered flight. its actually able of sustaining g forces far beyond the limit of the human body. as for turning better than the 22. no way, the 22 directs the exhaust and makes it turn much sharper than any other aircraft short of a helicopter. and for those that like F-14, F-15 F-16 F/A-18 and SUper Hornet, they would have REAL trouble defeating Su-37 which can carry 12(!) missiles, can outturn all of them, has superior unrefulled range, longer-range radar, is faster then all bar F15. so i think Su-37 would be in lots better position.
pilots flying humble MiG-29 have been outturning the latest versions of AIM-9.
F-22 will not carry external missiles as it'll ruin the stealth that it has. on top of that the FLIR targeting system on all flanker and fulcrum derivatives allows them to see any aircraft ahead within 15+km. as for BVR combat then a missile itself can be shot down.
As far as manuverability goes MiG-29 OVT can do more due to nozzles that can point in EVERY direction

And if I remember correctly from the titbits it will be a jet fighter (not like the fighter/bomber hybrid of Berkut) with similar shape of the f-22.

@MrGAMESSSSSS It's not a pure jet fighter, its semi bomber capable of carrying larger missiles (if I remember correctly I read that one of the armament missiles has a 120km range).
Though as I don't have up to date information, this might have changed. Though at the time there were 2 other 5th gen. jets under development, one of which has made first public flights quiet recently.

Do you know what Vietnamization is? It is the process of making Vietnam self sufficient so that it could fight communism on its own. We did all that was within our power but the Vietnamese government, corrupt as it is, was unable to carry out the necessary tasks. It isnt our fault that Vietnam succumbed to communism either. We did not retreat, simply left because of widespread discontent in the United States at the time.

Only few notices: There is no Su-47. "Su" is name of serial aircrafts from Suchoj, "S" is sign for experimental machines, demonstrators and prototypes. This beutifull airplane is not on serial status, it's "only" 'beta release' and can show potential of Russian constructers and ingeneers, not future of Russia Air Forces... But still nice nice nice bird...

yes but the su47 use RAM not the same as the F22 and yes the 22 is ALOT shorter. and no SU47 wouldnt be better in a close dogfight, the 47 can easily stall whereas the 22 thrust vectering allows you to pitch the nose over quickly and keep powered flight. its actually able of sustaining g forces far beyond the limit of the human body. as for turning better than the 22. no way, the 22 directs the exhaust and makes it turn much sharper than any other aircraft short of a helicopter. SU47 is old tech

and for those that like F-14, F-15 F-16 F/A-18 and SUper Hornet, they would have REAL trouble defeating Su-37 which can carry 12(!) missiles, can outturn all of them, has superior unrefulled range, longer-range radar, is faster then all bar F15. so i think Su-37 would be in lots better position.

pilots flying humble MiG-29 have been outturning the latest versions of AIM-9.
F-22 will not carry external missiles as it'll ruin the stealth that it has. on top of that the FLIR targeting system on all flanker and fulcrum derivatives allows them to see any aircraft ahead within 15+km. as for BVR combat then a missile itself can be shot down.
As far as manuverability goes MiG-29 OVT can do more due to nozzles that can point in EVERY direction

I'll agree the Su-47 didnt show anything on this vid but its not on an international airshow. Even Sukhoi corporation admitted they cant yet determine full potential cos its so massive.
To those loving stealth, once you use the 2-metre long wave-length, aircraft is seen easily cos the RAMs arent made to absorb such "heavy" long wave and the shape is useless also as the whole body resonates.
F-22 is a very good aircraft. bloody expensive too. but the MISSILES arent invisible

same here. The SU-47 looks kick ass and flies awesome! With a good pilot at the stick of an Su-47, it'll give an F-22 some work. I too think the SU-47 and the F-22 are equal in terms of performance. Both are highly over powered, both have "stealth" and both look fuckin awesome in the air! If only the US and Russia would come together in peace, it'd be even more awesome!

That didn't happen. To date, the F-15 has downed over 104 enemy aircraft in its operational history, including around a dozen MIG-29s. An F-15 has NEVER been shot down by an enemy aircraft. NEVER. The MiG 29 has repeatedly shown it has no chance against an F-15.

You do not know history. Do not say that the F-15 is not the loss of MIG. The American pilots had always feared the aircraft MIG, they recognize it.
F-15 was not shot down any one aircraft in Russia.
