  • If you read those scriptures, you'll see it says..."and then ANOTHER said/did"....Another would refer to MORE THAN ONE.

  • I'm no bible scholar, but this is what i came up with. These are the names of the seven spirits of God and together these spirits create a Godhead, individually the are Gods, and together they are God.Here are the names I found:

    1) Elohim

    2) Yahweh

    3) Adonai

    4) Theos

    5) Kurios

    6) Despotes

    7) Father

Any thoughts on this? All comments welcome, I just came up with this in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe it won't even makes sense when I wake up. LOL

  • @purity4all - Not quote my friend. All of the names you mention above are names for God or are used as terms of formal address (i.e., kurios) or to refer to false god(s) (i.e., theos), etc. None of them prove that seven spirits make up the Godhead.

  • Nice to meet you.

  • Thank you! What's your name?

  • @ThorsHammery - Your welcome my friend. My name is Dustin.

  • @ThorsHammery - Good to meet you Jared. Congrats on being a father!

  • I'm Jared by the way.

  • @ThorsHammery - Good to meet you Jared. Congrats on being a father!

  • I agree. I've done the same. I got sucked into debating with them, realized I was letting them get to me, and then I realized I was waisting my time talking to them. So now when I get upset or mad at them when I think about them I take a step back and pray for them. And man I always knew being a dad would be awesome but I never knew it was this AWESOME!! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!!

  • I asked John how many people are saved at their events and he responded zero. Without even thinking I asked him well what are you doing wrong and he was not happy about that question. Lol. Which in hindsight, it was probably a little bit disrespectful, though my tone wasn't demeaning but I guess it could've been interprets that way. After I asked that he pretty much ignored me.

  • @ThorsHammery - I encourage folks to avoid talking to these guys because I have found them to be unteachable, divisive, and factious. The Bible tells us to avoid such folks as these (2 Tim. 2:23; Titus 3:10) because we'll waste our time with them when we could be doing something much more profitable for the Kingdom (like caring for our kids, reaching our neighbors, serving our brothers and sisters at church, etc.).

  • @ThorsHammery - Praise the Lord. May the Lord bless you with your babies! They are such a blessing.

  • I positively commend you for that!! I have a one year old and one on the way due in December and I can't fathom someone aborting a child.

  • @ThorsHammery - Oh yes, I did the same thing back in 2006 and even invited them to dinner. We fed them, attempted fellowship with them, etc. but we realized that something was different about them but we couldn't quite put our finger on it. We learned later that they denied original sin, taught "Biblical perfectionism", and said that they hadn't sinned in years. 1 John 1:8 and Gal. 5:17 directly contradicts those teachings.

  • @ThorsHammery - I personally don't prefer open-air preaching though I do it of necessity outside the abortion clinic [we can't step on the property, so we have to address them from a distance.] I think one-on-one conversations are most effective and that is primarily what I engage in when evangelizing strangers. Moreover, building relationships with unbelievers is the most effective since they trust you and know you have their best interest in mind.

  • And have you watched any of the pinpoint evangelism videos on here? They came to my college campus and at first I gave them the benefit of the doubt but then I went to their website and was shocked by what they really believe.

  • And I'm in no way saying open air preaching is wrong. I've gone door to door before It was by far the most heart breaking experience of my life. It also led me to realize everyday is a chance to preach. Everything I do is preaching to people. I'm in no way perfect or sinless. But I do use every chance I get when Jesus opens the door for me to show them the love of Christ or tell them about Him. I start with His love and I eventually get to convictions of sin through study of the Word with them.

  • And I am not at all trying to belittle anyone...not even pinpoint. Lol. Even if they drive me crazy. The point I was trying to make to them was baptism of the Holy Spirit gives you compassion for the lost. I believe a person needs an encounter with God before the consequences of their sin can be understood by them. And even then it's only through Jesus' conviction in your heart after study of the Word that these sins can be repented for and atoned. Otherwise, without God in their lives the bibl

  • @ThorsHammery - I agree as well re: compassion. The difference (and this is a minor difference) is that I believe that all true believers have the baptism of the HS. We must strive to have compassion upon lost people, be gracious towards them and realize that they are behaving the way they do because they are lost. This naturally produces a compassion for the lost in the heart of a person who loves the Lord Jesus. It's the mark of an incurable God-lover.

  • @ThorsHammery - My personal conviction is that (1) not all Christians will speak in tongues as not all have the gift [1 Cor. 12:30] and (2) I believe all true believers receive the baptism of the HS at the moment of regeneration/salvation per 1 Cor. 12:13. The reason why people are hesitant in answering your questions is because those types of questions are often used to back the one answering into a corner to make them look like a second-class Christian or a non-Christian.

  • And please whenever I respond take it as you would a light hearted friend. I'm a fun guy and I mean no malice or ill content when asking a question or submitting a response. All I'm seeking is an answer to better understand the person I'm talking to.

  • Well I'll be honest I've asked a few people this question recently and no one will answer it. I've asked it to the people at pinpoint evangelism and now to you. Which I'm just going to say I appreciate your response it made me feel you're much more compassionate and willing to instruct instead of condemn me without prior knowledge of my status with Christ. It didn't include sinner, repent or I'm going to hell for such a question. Lol.

  • @ThorsHammery - Well, I'm sorry that you received such treatment from other professing Christians. Such should not be the case. I asked you why you were interested in my answering these questions because some professing believers teach that unless one speaks in tongues then they haven't received the baptism of the HS and either (1) aren't Christians, or (2) are second-class Christians. To answer your questions, no, I have never spoken in tongues and yes I have been Spirit-baptized.

  • @ThorsHammery - Thus, the reason why many folks are hesitant to answer your question is because they have been asked such leading questions before and the questions were used to trap the person into a corner to make them look like a second-class believer or not even a believer at all.

  • Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit? Have you ever spoken in tongues or had another spiritual gift?

  • @ThorsHammery - Why do you ask these things my friend?

  • Hi may I ask a question unrelated to the content of your video?

  • @ThorsHammery - Sure.

  • I didn't block your comment, you removed it or someone else did. It wasn't me. If you were blocked, you wouldn't be able to post in my channel.
