Tennis is my favorite sport to watch on TV. The final match of the Aussie Open was indeed amazing! Great vlog. I have been in that position, to make a decision to live a certain life. I decided NOT to become a musician a long time ago. Glad I did, if I tried to make a living doing that, I might never have taken up screenwriting, which has totally absorbed my entire life.
@NaturalTwentyFilms Thanks. Deciding not to be a musician must have been a tough decision at the time. But at least you got where you wanted to be in the end :)
If the oportunity came I would take it otherwise I would spend the rest of my days wondering 'what might have been'. You only life once. Might be different if I had a family to support though.
@EdEditz I know what you mean. I guess it all comes down to how much confidence you have in your own ability & in how things will turn out. Some changes can be far more risky than others. But, as you say, if you don't take that chance you'll never know what may have happened. It's a tough decision either way :)
My life has always been a bit of a struggle, and at a time when I had nothing to lose I gave up my old life and started a new one... I'm less reluctant to start all over again even though now I don't have much to lose again.
@phekwig Having nothing, or little to lose can sure make a difference when it comes to making those life changing decisions. But you still have to have the guts to carry them through :)
Funny that you made this video as I am trying to answer this very question right now in my life. My family is getting ready to open a new small business that is very unique. I am scared to death and I am also terribly excited. I feel like I may be stepping onto a crazy train and
I'm not sure where it is going to take me. I suppose I will just hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
@MyRealityBytes Sounds like you've got the right attitude. I'm sure it will be exciting, as most new challenges are. Being a little scared seems perfectly normal in the circumstances.
I think it would depend on your circumstances, if i were young and single with no responsibilities i would more than likely take that chance, but that's with hindsight... in fact when i was young free and single i took the more 'safe' route and got a 9 to 5 job and got married and had babies.... i think maybe it's more to do with your personality if you are prepared to take big chances in life
@twish1999 I do think age can make a difference, especially if you have no real commitments. But the easy life is just that & many aren't prepared to give it up, or take that chance. Obviously, that just gets harder as you get older & more settled :)
Always wanted to have a gap year, had the opportunity, took it, don't regret it! :)

@21stCenturyCat And a very good decision it was too. But, you still had to have had the balls to actually do it :)

Hard question because it really depends on the case.
Change is the spice of life! :)

@ralfonzo83 It is indeed, but many people are actually happy with what they've got. They just might not realise it, or be willing to say that :)
