  • Truly a beautiful and unique art. Thank you for the experience. :)

  • overall a great clip with good explanation. just some spacing problem for example the big kettle pot blocked the view...

keep it up and forget about those people who disrespected your post.

  • Each dynasty had its own tea ceremonial tradition, so did each province and city and "school" of tea making, and Buddist discipline (Japanese Chanoyu was copied from Song Dynasty China but its popularity waned in China). Much has been forgotten and lost over the millennia and this is a very modern interpretation. It's "traditional" in the sense that it's all that's left of our tradition. But it is not what ancient Chinese tea preparation would have looked like.

  • lol i dun even know the process is so long. what i did jus put the tea leaves in pot and pour some hot water, done!.

  • @hellowsaw it's not all about just drinking the tea. it's about the ceremony and about enjoying it, just calming down and relaxing.

  • That was very beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!

I greatly appreciate this video being in Chinese. For me, it made it seem so much more authentic and was very easy to follow. You did an amazing job, I would like you to know that I appreciate your efforts. Thank you again!:-D!

  • I don't know what she said, but it's hot!

  • I have a penchant for watching tea ceremonies. I love watching the methodical and gentle ways they perform the ritual. I wonder why, after looking at the past posts, there are such scary people watching tea ceremonies, of all things.

  • ermm...english

  • @chyehin How about you learn some other language other than American English?

  • Some like it strong and bitter, some like it light and milder flavour...and the price grade of tea depending on aged fermentation, the more it aged the more the flavour is being cultivated gave it more smoother, rounder taste and aroma just like aged whisky. If you don't know the reason why they did this, better do your own research or participate the taste testing on your own before you embarrassed yourself of your ignorance with the comment you posted here.

  • From cheapest to expensive one. For someone thinks it a waste of time to prepare the tea like this is because they can't tell the difference between the quality. A good quality of well-prepared fermented tea give certain characteristic and aroma, especially the taste. The reason shown on this video is how to prepare to brew the tea in good optimum temperature. Time of brewing and temperature can affect the way of how you want to extract the flavor of tea according to your taste preference.

  • It's a shame that nobody understand the finer point of this Chinese tea ceremony. In fact, it's not just simple, elaborate ritual...it's a process to teach you the way of how to prepare the tea properly so as educated everyone how to appreciate the exquisite taste, and aroma of fine quality of tea. Don't you know that they do also sell aged tea as well? The tea is comparable like aged whisky or vintage wine and command high price. I've tasted several sample of different teas....

  • I loved the video, thanks for sharing. =)

P.s.: Some people are just frustrated, and you don't have to listen to them.

  • dont listen to these people on hear they have no life if they are going to come on hear and take the time to make rude comments then they should not be on youtube.

I for one loved this video and hope you keep makeing more i am going to add this to my favorites now

  • cantonese?

  • This style of tea ceremony is relatively new. The ancient style from the Han and Qin dynasties were much more subtle in nature, much like the Japanese ceremony. Sadly, it is forgotten in the modern Chinese society.

  • i love the fact she talks most of the time.. i understand nothing off it.. but its somewhat.. like.. fachinating and relaxing listening to it

  • Agreed. But subtitles would be good too.

  • i love the chinese tradition a lot and i can't undersand, why people write such fucking comments here? as yanjiaren said, why not just enjoy the beautiful harmonie of chinese tea-culture?
