I think you miss the point. This is strong evidence that persistent contrails are normal, and have been around since the dawn of aviation.

There are account all the way back to 1921. Obviously nobody has been "spraying" since 1921. It's just contrails, formed from the water vapor in aircraft engine exhaust, which turns to ice at the cold temperatures (-40) found at high altitude.

Yes, I would love to believe that these are just contrails. But, i saw them sprayed the first week of each month since last summer. They were sprayed last week in my area. Funny how the trails I saw were only on one area of the sky covering the sunset, but none anywhere else in the sky. These were sprayed at or around sunset every month. The trails I saw last week were still visible the next morning. They don't go away, they linger..In this case for over 12 hours. Do contrails do that?

The descriptions of persistent spreading contrails are consistent all the way back to first observed one in 1921, which was when planes first got to that altitude. So, no, it's not early testing, it's just contrails.

The accounts of contrails like this go back to 1921. Sure, you can believe things because there is no proof that they are not true - but then how do you choose what to believe. Surely at least the evidence that something MIGHT be true needs to outweigh the evidence that it is not.

So where is the evidence to support "chemtrails"?

My first fact is my eyes. imagine you had a wall and it was hot to the touch. I tell you and you say... Nah, that wall gets hot sometimes on and off. I say, "Well, if there is a short, it could set the house on fire," What would you do? Stick with what you know or have it tested?

People would agree that your hot wall was rather unusual. But are spreading contrails unusual? Perhaps they are to you, as you don't remember them. But to scientists, persistent spreading contrails ARE normal.

Which scientists? Try going to Google Scholar, and searching for "persistent contrails"

I looked up a lot of stuff on Contrails and they don't have all the answers either. Ice Crystals, Sulfur content of the fuel, contrails forming cirrus clouds. All of that is there and by no means does it seem like this is normal. On a lot of papers "More Research needed" was stated.

Something has changed and I want it looked into... Might be as simple as they changed the fuel and it's causing this much more than it used to.

Water itself is not fully understood - the way it changes from liquid to solid is incredibly complex. Much of science is simply a very good approximation of how things work. Contrail formation is not perfectly understood, but the basic principals are very well understood. Engines make water, water freezes into clouds, if the air is humid enough then they persist and spread.

But that is not what was started in about 4 or 5 things I read on Google Scholar... You mentioned of the sulfur amounts in fuel or that they stated that it creates cirrus clouds and we are not talking small ones... Ones that show up on radar.

Also the fact that many seem to think further study is needed. Seems like you just want to prove me wrong, instead of wanted to know what is really happening.

There is nothing to suggest that these were unusual. These were just photos of normal contrails in 1972 - just the same as contrails 35 years later.
