Is River Song his campanion now? I hope not, it's bad enough to have this guy with wierd hair and frankenstein face as Dr. Who. My favorite doctor was a toss up between Pertwee and Colin Baker, but if they ever find more video of Patrick Troughton as the doctor, I might change my mind. I have seen Matt Smith in Ruby in the Smoke, etc, and was not impressed, hope he has improved.

i must admit Matt seemed pretty good at the end of the last special. When the doctor regenerated into him and was checkin him self over, there was a reall sense of David in him but he seemed like he was going to be quite a fun Doctor ... Am excited now - he'll live up to standards! The Doctor Who crew won't let us down!

Tom Baker the best, always will be for me. It took me ages to get used to Peter Davison afterwards but he finally grew on me, so give this new guy a chance - he deserves that at the very, very least.

I adored Peter, had my problem with the regeneration into Colin's Doctor (but I appreciate him now!) My first Doctor was Jon Pertwee, so the regeneration into Tom Baker was disconcerting, to say the least!

Tardis looks a bit ghetto I think, although it is closer to the 1950s police box.

Not sure on this whole thing, I always liked the Doctor as an older man - kind of a father figure I guess. Pertwee and Troutman were perfect.

I though even Tennant was a bit young. Still Tennant turned out fantastic so we shall see!!

you mustnt be a fan of the classic series...because the tardis is the same design as the old one.... =/

and also, his costume is going back to the original episodes, so dont complain, if this puts you off dr who, then you mustnt be a very big fan :/

No people may be put off by this whole classic look because they never grew up with the older series.

Im 14 and I got very into david tennants series, Also Its always weird getting use to a new doctor..and considering im 14 and have grown up in a modern society, this whole classic-y Dr Who is a big change, and Im a little wary, alot of younger viewers like me will think so..

However, I doubted Tennant, and look how that turned out :)

It such a change, maybe too BIG of a change..We'll see!

Yeah, but I gotta say, Moffat is a fantastic writer (blink!...No words needed) but I did actually like the Doctor/Rose coupling, mainly because im a girl and I welcome even a hint of romance into the drama I watch lol, I just liked it, Kept me hooked. But yeah this series looks epic as ever! The remaining specials look brilliant!

I agree with you totaly. The thing I didn't like about the Doctor/Rose was that the Doctor is a time-lord and Rose is a Human. I would be fine if the Doctor hooked up with a time-lady or somthing.
