That young lady has a very mature voice and is definitely working that song. Amy seemed to pull from a very natural place. By that I mean she engaged the audience genuinely and naturally. That could have been the key to her brilliance. No one could have been as good as Ms. Winehouse without the love of her gift. Too bad she had to leave us. I have wrapped my heart around her brilliance and unbelievable charm. She gave the world more than a lot of others. RIP

her voice was fucked. she knew it. i think she wanted to get healthy and on the right track cos if u see her at her last performances, ie, this, she seemed, mentally to wanna be in it. but i think she fucked her best feature- her excuisite voice. when the cause of death comes back, which i think was that her body shut down on her, it may be an overdose. she probably knew her voice would never be the same again and didnt ever wanna be considered "washed up" and offed herself. poor angel. fly amy.
