My wife and I had three rats, males.

It was a very great loss when they died.

Often think about them.

Strange how such a sweet and affectionate animal can have a bad reputation.

I would recommend these little guys as a pets as much as I would a dog.

All three had such different personalities.

One thought he was in charge but the one that really was in charge was very passive and only flexed his authority when needed.

The other one stayed out of it all lol

I'm so sorry for the loss of Willow, and her cage-mate! She looks like such a little sweetie. Losing a pet sucks. You really seem to love animals,which makes me want to give you a big hug even though I don't know you. Your pets are lucky to have you, and I'm sure your rats had a wonderful life with you taking care of them.
