I bought a cabasa today, because I thought it was a random instrument. I´d seen a musician using it in a couple of songs, so I thought: why not?
I don´t have any musical skills, unfortunately, and what I just saw there. Hah, I dunno how many times I´ve tried to play the same thing, doesn´t work though!
Wow! I came across this video from looking at one on the shekere and I remembered the cabasa from music class in middle school which was just a boring instrument back then but wow if only they showed all these techniques.
