I teach microbiology at the U. of Ten. - Chattanooga. Three months after making the video, I contracted a staph infection after stretching on a gym mat. The bacteria were so aggressive the surgeon told me I was within 12 hours of losing my arm. Thus, it's important to note that having a Ph.D. in microbiology and teaching experience does not make one immune to common germs. Please treat the germs in your environment with extreme care.
