Silence of the lambs was amazing then the sequels as ALWAYS became money making gay films. The interesting writing always seems to fly out the window in horror sequels. Liek the work really hard to make the first one perfect, then just rest on its name and make trash. Superman suffered from the same thing after part 2, trash . Why do we pay these people to write trash sequels????why???

@nyran125 I agree on that point with most sequels, but I have to disagree as far as Silence Of The Lambs goes, I really enjoyed Red Dragon and Hannibal, but it's different for some people, some prefer to see less of Anthony so it has more mystery, and some like me enjoy seeing him as often as possible.

@thagrammarnazi The order of the books goes: Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, and then Hannibal. The films are a little tricky. Red Dragon, the novel, was adapted into a film under the title, "Manhunter." It did horribly in theaters. Silence of the Lambs was released a number of years later and did very well. Red Dragon was filmed a decade or so later. It's the prequel.
