thanks man. now i can figure out if my shitty 200watt is really putting out 200 watts. my guess is that it isn't cause its a piece of shit jensen 200 (i gots 2 of them). damn i really need to land a job soon so i can ditch those pieces of shit for something better. but hey, thanks again for posting this. very informative :)
@mazda2284 yeah my other meter the amp clamp has Vac 600 - 200 and Amps Ac 200 - 20 set them on the lower setting "my fluke meter is automatic switcing" but it still has them settings
@jesseadkins187 does that look like a good scope for the price? otherwise i can get my hand on one of the huge old school o scopes with the green screen . not sure how that old 1 works they have it down at a military store downtown
@mazda2284 yep thats like the one i got looks like a suitcase kinda got shit load of knobs on it i mean honestly the BIG anolog ones are more complicated but WAAY cheaper the digital ones are pricey but alot easier to use.... and got disavantage with the big one its big bulky and needs 120 volts plugged in to run which the little hand held are battery operated
@jesseadkins187 good point , ima just go with one of those handhelds , i just texted my friend to see if he wants to go halfs on one :) ive also been talking with him bout getting a TL together, one way or another ima buy a TL this year.

ok my meters give me more options than yours lol, for AC volts i have2 settings 600 and 200 , and for AAC i have 200m and 10a
