They did a stupid move when they made Sakka more serious and with no sarcasm (And pronounced half the other names wrong) And when they tried to fit 30 somethin' episodes into an hour and an half movie. Double the time, pronounce the names right, make Sakka more Sarcastic/Skeptic focus less on all the Kunf-Fu type moves for bending and more on the story, and it wouldn't have been so bad. I mean, it was a HELL of a lot better than Dragon Ball Evolution.
