Even though most of my collection are rare vintage computers, I have absolutely no idea how to program any of them, Lol.
I also have a +2, but mine is the more earlier grey model. You should also keep a look out for a +3, it has a built-in floppy disk drive; pretty sweet. =)
@mariosonic190 Yes, a +3 will come some time, you ought to see what I found today with the remains of my birthday money, it's a bit tatty, so I am going to do a restoration video :o)
@smartarse001 Yes, couldn't agree more, fortunatly, this is a +2a which is from the amsclair era lol, much better, really solidly built unlike the original ones, which I've never been a fan of :o)
@atarileaf OMG, I am so sorry, that must have been a real insult for you!!!, I would hate to think I'd been mistaken for one of those 'noisy neighbours' lolol. Still doesn't change the fact, it's British, therefore, it's a 'zed-ex' lolol :o)
@IntellivisionDude I found this one in Stockton, it was xfile2708s :o) (it has good pedigree lol)
That's a cool thing about these, if you put an audio tape in it (and some games did have their soundtracks on the tape too), it will play it through the tv for you, infact, I shall put a quick video up next week to show you exactly that :o)
@pocketmego Lol, very funny mego, they do issue them at birth, but mine wore out from use (I never did actually have one lol), yes, that box is HUGE, you ought to see it piled on my boxes against the wall (you shall in my next video lol), yes, I am considering moving out of the house and into the spectrum's power supply brick, more space!!!!
It maybe that the light phaser looks similar for a reason, probably got it from the same company :o)
Good idea. But, if the Spectrum power supply makes an unusual wheezing sound, get out of there quick... or it might fling you suddenly through time and space. ;)
@pocketmego Problem there is I won't know whether it's the explosion of the alcohol consumption that is causing me to travel through time and space lolol
cool unboxing but where's the duck : ). never played on a spectrum but my family did have an amstrad and i played on that as a kid wished we still had it : ( great video :D
@davidhass3lh0ff Don't worry, I have plans for the duck, involving alcohol!! lolol. Yes, I had not used an amstrad since about 87 until Marcus let me use his, it was great fun!! :o)
@misterintellivision Yes, I am a big fan of the c64. But, if you like programming, may I suggest this too, it's got a great editor and the basic is wonderful to work with. I'm going to be looking at doing a collaberative effort later in the year to program some games on this, should be fun :o)
hey i im gettting one of these myself soon ! cant wait to play it ! i hear i can upload games through other files since most of the games are de-magnetized. we can do high score games together =)
@vinnieblacklodge You'll have fun getting one of these to work in America Vinnie. What's this about de-magnetized games as I don't know about that. Yes, we will have to try and get the same games, I have horace goes skiing lol, which is very bloody hard lol
i had the plus 48k how i miss manic miner i wanted this one so bad but was lucky to be given a c64
leef0324uk 5 months ago

What do you mean Unboxing???
Your British, I thought the Government issued ZX Spectrums to British born citizens at birth!!!!
That Box is HUGE, and its so tiny. LOL
All joking aside though, EXCELLENT pick-up my friend. I really dfo love this silly machine quite a bit.
And still it has a power supply the size of small building.
That looked a LOT like a MASTER SYSTEM Light Phaser. :)
