Place the sentry bear at the entrance before entering and triggering the cut scene, it will still shoot through the wall, another way is to make the paddle saw and make sure you have the combo card for it and use the heavy attack, you will still be damage by him but the damage you do to him will be so ridiculous you wont even have to use a healing item before the battle is over.
