@coolyjinwoo It's not, they can't really patch it because it works with where the semtex blows up. When you do that, you're putting it inside the wall, so it has no real explosion damage.

i was playing team defender on lockdown and right off the spawn i go down the stairs and throw a semtex into the tunnel and stuck a guy and the guy did exactly that....... i could have gotten an triple kill or even a multi kill.

Another way to survive a semtex stick is to have the riot shield and blast shield. If the semtex sticks in the riot shield, the riot shield absorb some damage, the blast shield helps to survive and wont die,you will be only hurt

I'm guessing the Semtex thing works like that because of, at least when stuck on the chest or head, when looking down, you're essentially (based on 3rd person) bending down slightly and putting your head and upper chest right INTO the wall itself.

So when the Semtex actually explodes, the explosion, if it's stuck in that location, is going off inside the wall itself, thus is "contained" and not actually hurting your body outside the wall.

Basically, it's like how you can be behind cover, even a thin wall, a person throws a Semtex and it sticks to the wall right on the other side of you. It will explode, but not hurt you while you're directly behind that cover.

does it work with strafe runs? i know if you shoot like a javelin or another launcher at the middle chopper itl take out the 3 middle choppers and you get a ton of points, i think like 1800. what if you shot a javelin at the middle chopper then shot the middle 3 choppers with your gun, would you get 2600?

Can you shoot the chopper first with your primary? then shoot it with a stinger?

Instead of doing it the other way so you get the double xp and dont have to worry about trying to beat the stinger to the chopper.

It depends where you are hit by the semtex! For example, if a semtex landed on your back, then facing the wall is just a stupid idea. THAT'S the reason why surviving semtex sometimes doesn't work.
