@equirnam the system itself definitely was way a head of it's time and much more advance than the GBC. However, what made GBC a force to be reckoned with was the different amounts of software that came for it, especially with the overly popular pokemon series exclusive for that platform. Had the Neo Geo offered as much software as the GBC, it would have easily not have been overshadowed by the much weaker GBC.
@wonphi Doubtful, the Neo Geo Pocket didn't have the name Nintendo, and it also didn't have 3rd party support. Not only that but, the system was initially sold online, in 99, online shopping wasn't a huge thing. Rarely anyone knew about it.
Bring out the NeoGeo Pocket Advanced! =p

this system is waaay better than gameboy color, awesome games!!! totally underrated, i still play mine almost everyday. . .
