Actually, Macs can support any virus files, other than .exe which is what most viruses are. But we don't have any viruses because the Mac community is relatively small and no one would wnat to ruin such a great thing.

I just got an iMac no cpu built in television HD webcam and free digital chanels the iMac may be a tad more expencive bt is cheap when you add all the bonuses if you buy a pc it is perfect for the office but macs are great as home computers to all of my friends an iMac is the dream computer they envy me so the iMac is perfect ... well almost just need to wait for lepord now.

When you first start a PC you have to do fuck all and there are only 2 or 3 drivers that need to be installed and you only have to install em once

As a developer of Linux, a variant of Unix... the claim that Unix is not hackable is plain wrong. NPrato is probably correct in his assumption that MACs are not virus stricken because of relatively low use.

And MACs were NOT the first personal computers.

Actually, the annoying thing is that they've managed to BS their own commercial. First damn thing after you set up the Intarweb connection, it's going to want to download some updates--I think most Macs currently ship with 10.4.5 Tiger CDs and 10.4.6 and a couple of Security patches have happened since then.

Macs are great machine--I manage about 30 of them--but these commercials are a little too much snake oil, even though they're funny and well done.

It prompts you do download updates. Does not mean you cannot just quit the updater, do your work or play, then update later. Time required to do that, probably 5 seconds.

i have had a PCs all my life and thought macs were a joke.. just like most of you. but then i bought one because i make movies and all the movie editing software for PCs are crap. short and sweet macs are 1000000000 times better. they dont get viruses.. period. they dont randomly crash on you. they have way better software for everything. and they look sexy.
